Carmen J. Correa, known to myself and my family as Pretty, was certainly a beautiful woman, in her heart, soul, and mind. She cherished and honored the value of everyone, and jealously guarded all whom she loved from any troubles, giving so much of herself and her blessings in life that she became the greatest blessing to others. God has carried her by the hand out of her suffering to the next life, to be a witness to the Eternal Mass with Jesus Christ, Whom she embraced in everyone she knew and loved. I personally owe her everything I have to give, raising me as one of her own, allowing me to flourish as a respectable, cultured, intelligent Catholic young man. I shall never forget all of the joyful times we have shared, and know that every time I look towards the skies, I expect to see her face shining down upon me. In her last few days of terrible illness, I prayed for her to become a bird, like those she would love to watch outside of her window every afternoon. I see her now that my prayers have been answered, with her soul as graceful as a swan, her heart as joyous as a robin, her facade as brilliant as a cardinal, and her love as free as a bluejay. I will miss you terribly Pretty, and only wish to God and Our Blessed Mother, and all of the Saints and Angels, that you find solace in Him, and lead me to the next life, as you led me through this one. God bless and God save you.
