my fondest memory was when i was in my late teens. my parents invited Uncle Frank and Aunt Lilian for a Sunday dinner. We were drinking wine, laughing and enjoying the day together. My Mom worked her kitchen magic and Uncle Frank would have a wonderful comment about each thing that hit the table. As i was not fully adult but old enough now to start appreciating people, Aunt Lilian made a big impression on me for her remarkable warmth, sunny disposition and compassion. She spoke with my Mom very frequently and often with my father until his death too. I will always remember Aunt Lilian's kind voice and goodness that came from her like an aura.
