Annie was my mentor during my time at Cadwalader, and a wonderful one at that. We shared many adventures together, including hitting up as many Broadway shows as we could possibly fit in. I recall my first year at the firm, where a group of us were literally burning the midnight oil as the clock turned to midnight and my birthday arrived. I had all but foregone the possibility of any birthday celebration that year, but not Annie, who surprised me and our very tired group with delicious cupcakes to celebrate. Her genuine kindness, sound perspective, and perfectly timed humor were such a light. May her memory continue to bring blessings to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
