The kids and I loved visiting Meg in Maryland. Aunt Meg was always such a gracious host! She had a way of taking time to connect with each kid - always allowing them to explore the shelves of trinkets collected from around the world. Nothing was “off limits” she had walls of books and one of my favorite memories was listening to Maggie and Liam discuss books they had all read- I loved how she asked them questions about the books and was genuinely interested in their perspectives and interpretations of the literature. She was truly a kind and giving spirit. She will be missed greatly!
Margaret and I were classmates for 8 years at Holy Re deemer Grammar School and rode the same bus to attend our various high schools. I'm sorry that I can't attend today's visitation. I was so sorry to learn of her passing. She certainly accomplished a lot in her life. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Cathy and the rest of her family. Jack Mc Quade
