I will always remember “Mrs. Sullivan” as the strong proud matriarch of her beautiful family. She was a great woman who is a fine role model for women today. She and her husband were principled people relying on their Catholic Faith as a compass for life of loving their children but also welcoming others into her fold. She not only raised a large family which gave her joy and honor but she was a strong advocate of education, especially supportive of her beautiful daughters’ careers as public educators. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a source of great pride and joy to her. And now, your husband stands at the pearly gates and calls you home with the pipes singing through the heavens and the God of your belief says, “Welcome home, well done Good and Faithful servant.” Thank you dear lady for welcoming Barb, me and our family into your clan. Our prayers are with the Sullivans, God bless you through your grief.
